Whether you’re coming solo or bringing your besties, this weekend promises empowering experiences, fast-paced duck action, and the kind of laughs you’ll be talking about long after the last shot is fired.

Expect epic sunrises, expert-guided morning hunts, delicious meals, and plenty of opportunities to connect, relax, and recharge with other adventurous women. Grab your shotgun, your sense of adventure, and your favorite crew — this is more than just a hunt… it’s a weekend of sisterhood in camo.

Gun (Can be rented if needed for $100 per gun per day). We recommend a 20g or 12g shotgun.

Itinerary:

Friday:
Arrive after 3:30 PM — settle in, meet the crew, and enjoy a potluck-style group dinner (bring something to share!)

Saturday:
Rise and shine for an action-packed duck hunt! Enjoy a full day of food, fun, and feathers — with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Sunday:
Final morning hunt followed by breakfast. Then it’s hugs, goodbyes, and hitting the road with full hearts and fresh stories.

License Requirements:

All migratory game bird hunters must have a valid hunting license. Non-residents under 17 years of age are designated as residents and may hunt with a resident license. Hunters 17 years of age or older must have a driver's license or personal identification certificate (issued by the Department of Public Safety) on their person while hunting. Non-residents must have similar documents issued by the agency in the state or country of which the person is a resident that is authorized to issue driver's licenses or personal identification certificates.

Permit Requirements

A person is required to possess either an Annual Public Hunting Permit (https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/hunting-licenses-and-permits/hunting-permits-certifications#public-hunt-permits) or a Daily Hunting Permit (https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/hunting-licenses-and-permits/hunting-permits-certifications#daily-hunting-permit) to hunt migratory game birds on certain state and federal lands and on private lands leased by the State for public hunting purposes.

Endorsement Requirements

• A migratory game bird endorsement (https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/hunting-licenses-and-permits/hunting-endorsements#migratory-game-bird-endorsement) is required for persons 17 years of age or older to hunt any migratory game bird, including mourning doves.

• A Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp (https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/hunting-licenses-and-permits/hunting-endorsements#federal-duck-stamp) (commonly called a Duck Stamp) is required by Federal law for waterfowl hunters 16 years of age and over. The stamp is available online, most post offices and TPWD offices.

• Starting during the 2024-25 hunting season, Federal Duck Stamps either printed on physical licenses or validated on digital licenses meet the requirements for the entire waterfowl hunting season. Physical Federal Duck Stamps will be sent to the purchaser’s designated mailing address after March 10.

• Harvest Information (HIP) Certification (https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/hunting-licenses-and-permits/hunting-permits-certifications#harvest-information-program-certification) is required to hunt migratory game birds.

Have an open mind

We know a lot of people coming on these trips are doing something completely out of their comfort zone, and we LOVE that! We hope you'll show up with a positive, open mindset and be ready for a go with the flow weekend! We have an itinerary, however, things happen outside of our control. Weather changes, sometimes fish don't bite as much as we'd like, Etc. Your trip coordinator and the guide service will do absolutely everything they can to provide a successful and awesome experience! If there's ever a time where you have any questions or concerns, please chat with the trip coordinator to be sure you get the best experience possible! If we don't know about it, we can't fix it.

Please read carefully. By signing up for this trip and using the services of Double S Adventures, you are agreeing to the following:

Conduct myself in a proper manner.
Display courtesy and consideration in dealing with Double S Adventures personnel and other guests.
Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations.
No use or possession of illegal drugs while attending a Double S Adventures charter at any time.
Alcohol beverages are only to be had in moderation after the activity for the day. We are on this trip to fish, have fun and enjoy ourselves. NOT get intoxicated, chase boys or cause drama.
Observe and comply with all rules and regulations that Double S Adventures may prescribe by either oral or written notice of safety and convenience to all parties involved.
Moments from your charter may be photographed and used for advertising and promotional purposes. Please inform us in advance if you are not comfortable with that.
