Double S Adventures was formed in 2018. We're an outfitter with years and years of combined hunting experience that books adventures with some amazing ranches in Texas. We offer All Inclusive hunts in Texas, and are consistently working to grow and make connections all over. Our goal for each adventure is to provide a truly memorable experience. While you're here with us, we don't focus on antlers and scores. Of course, that's a bonus, but it's about so much more than that. It's about the memories made, the relationships formed and the experience as a whole. Whether you're a beginner in hunting, a kiddo trying something new, a getaway weekend with friends and family, or a seasoned hunter, this is a great opportunity for all and we can't wait to have you!

Shaun

FOUNDER
From the beginning of his life, Shaun lived on a ranch in the big buck country of Texas. His father and uncles introduced him to hunting the Texas way; with a break open single shot .410 gauge shot gun in the crispy sunflower fields targeting the quick mourning dove. By the young age of eleven, Shaun fed his family for the first time by shooting a regal white tail buck, equipped with a gorgeous set of chocolate brown antlers. From that moment, the fire in his heart was fueled.
In 2018, Shaun made the decision to bring his night time dreams to daylight and open the doors to Double S Adventures.
Alex

BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER
Alex was born and raised in Minnesota and has been hunting for about 6 years. She's an avid whitetail hunter and is out every weekend with her bow in early season or rifle when that opens up. We made her dream axis hunt happen August of 2020 and she's been hooked on exotics since. A goal of hers is to get more women involved in the outdoors and to help people make their dream hunts happen like we did for her.

Andy

GUIDE
Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Andy developed a love for the outdoors early on, spending his youth fly fishing along the Gulf Coast. At 13, he harvested his first deer—a moment that sparked a lifelong passion for hunting and a deeper appreciation for nature. For Andy, the true reward of the hunt lies not just in the harvest, but in the journey, the challenge, and the meals shared afterward.
Now based in San Antonio, Andy works full-time as a civil engineer but found himself drawn back to the wild. In 2023, he began guiding hunts as a way to step away from the desk and pursue what truly fuels him—being outside, sharing the thrill of the hunt, and helping others experience the adventure firsthand.
Andy puts everything he has into every hunt, committed to delivering an unforgettable and exhilarating experience for each client. Through Double S Adventures, he’s had the opportunity to pursue some of the biggest and most unique game Texas has to offer—and he can’t wait to help you chase yours.
Logan

GUIDE
From the beginning of his life, Logan lived on a ranch in the Texas hill country. His family introduced him to hunting exotics very early in life. By the young age of five, he fed his family for the first time shooting axis does. From that first shot, his passion was fueled.
In 1995, Logan guided his first axis hunt. He has guided on and off most of his life, he is a Vet and knows Texas ranch lands well.
Danielle

BOOKING/MARKETING/GUIDE
Danielle has been hunting since the age of 7; her first hunt being with her father in Glen Rose. After her family acquired land in North Texas, Danielle’s passion for hunting strengthened even more. Growing up to be an avid whitetail hunter, she can spend countless hours in the stands during the rifle season. Danielle worked at her local processor and taxidermy, gaining years of experience from both trades there. She especially enjoyed having all the hunters come through with their harvests and stories, it made Danielle fall even more for the sport and knew she had to find her place in the hunting industry.
In 2025, Double S invited Danielle out on a women’s retreat and she felt welcomed and right at home; she knew she had to be part of the ranch’s operations and is more than willing to do what it takes for every hunter that comes through the gates.
Kate

GUIDE
Kate has been guiding exotics for Double S since 2022 and loves helping our hunters make their dream hunt a reality! Seeing the joy from a successful hunt never gets old. Kate’s true passion is duck hunting and has been a trailblazer for creating a space for women in the waterfowl world. Kate is an Army Veteran and prior Deputy Sheriff, working many years as a Narcotics Investigator. She now runs her clothing brand The Duck Huntress & waterfowl antique shop The Old Hen in addition to guiding. Her favorite animal to guide is Axis, a beautiful challenge and so rewarding!
Bryan

Bryan was born and raised in Mississippi, where hunting with his grandfather at a young age sparked a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Now a proud husband and father of three, he continues that tradition, sharing his love for hunting and fishing with his family and others. Bryan is dedicated to helping fellow outdoorsmen experience their dream hunts and create lasting memories in the field. Whether it’s chasing trophy game or just soaking in the quiet of the woods, he’s ready to help you plan the hunt of a lifetime.
